KNWLS's Spring/Summer 2026 collection marks a turning point—a declaration of arrival.

For the first time staging in Milan, Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault push their creative boundaries by aligning their signature bold sensuality with high-performance sportswear via a significant collaboration with Nike. The result isn't just an expansion of scale, but a sharpening of their voice: stronger, fiercer, more sculpted.

Making its debut in Padiglione Visconti, KNWLS's Milan appearance felt less like a relocation and more like an announcement: the brand stepping onto a larger stage. The runway experience was kinetic: models moving at speed through a semi-transparent walkway before exploding into view, with VTSS's soundtrack pulsing above. The energy was urgent, combining runway spectacle with athletic discipline.

This dual energy of club, combat, glamour, and movement sets the tone. KNWLS doesn't moderate its identity; instead, this season refines it under pressure, like steel tempered by flame.

The Nike partnership yields pieces that feel like battle gear for nightlife: corseted jackets in bonded leather and neoprene, featuring reflective thread and hard edges softened with lace or sheer trims. It's not just gym meets party-it's armor that flirts. Sneakers, bags, and trims—all get reworked through Nike's technical expertise. The Razr bag, with its waffle-sole base, corset-laced sneakers, and waterproof plaids, all signal that function is no longer an afterthought. Utility becomes design. The silhouette features strong, dome-shaped shoulders, structured tailoring, and armored jackets, but the brand doesn't abandon femininity. Lace cuffs, puff sleeves, jacquards, and corsetry persist. The horizon of vulnerability meets a declaration of strength.

Materials range from Flyknit (for corsets and sneakers) to bonded neoprene, technical jersey, reflective plaid, Lycra, and washed denim-like cotton. The mix is visceral; textures alternate between soft and tough. Silhouettes are daring. Oversized, round-shouldered coats; sharp corsets; skirts with structural flutes over layered tops; leggings and body-conforming pieces with ergonomic piping or anatomical seam work. These are pieces that demand presence. The modified Razr bag (leather & nylon with a rubber base), sneakers that blend ballet-boot toe references with sport tech, and unexpected handbag shapes. These accessories are not just add-ons-they carry the theme.

This is a leap, not a compromise. The Nike collaboration amplifies KNWLS's strengths (sensuality, corsetry, bold design) rather than diluting them. The "warrior club" mythos, the tension between sweat and lace, between armor and vulnerability, feels coherent. It's more than ornate visuals-it evokes attitude. Some pieces, such as sneakers, bags, and technical outerwear, are likely to perform well outside of fashion editorial frames. The aesthetic has edge and wearability in the right contexts.

Many looks are theatrical; some may be hard to translate into everyday wardrobes. Consumers might love statement pieces, but not always full-look dramatics. When Nike's technical legacy and KNWLS's sensual legacy both fight for dominance, the risk is that one overpowers the other. Maintaining a brand's signature amid an extensive collaboration is always tricky. With so many references (Victoriana, clubwear, armor, tech, sportswear, dance, utilitarian), there's a risk of visual overload. The most decisive moments are those that feel distilled; if too many extremes accumulate, some looks may feel disjointed.

KNWLS SS26 is not a quiet coming-of-age but a full reveal. With Synergy, the brand establishes its place among those who ask not only how fashion looks, but also how it moves, how it empowers, and how it battles the mundane. The fusion with Nike doesn't feel like a trend chase; it feels inevitable for KNWLS. This season is about strength, exposure, and owning contrast.

In a world where many brands oscillate between comfort and spectacle, KNWLS wades into both and demands they coexist. SS26 is for the person who wants glamour and grit; who wants armor and lace; who wants their runway moments reflected in streetlight.
